"I'm incredibly proud of our team today, our process was great. That was the most statistically dominant we've been away from home at UPS," said Head Coach
Seth Spidahl.
"I'm disappointed in the outcome, for our players and our team. They put a lot into this and obviously we faced some adversity with the reschedule but we still came out and played well. The game was cruel to the players today and I'm hurting for them. It's a hard outcome to to take, because we didn't deserve it but soccer is a hard game sometimes. It can be cruel, you can dominate sometimes and not win. We just didn't make the most of our moments inside the 18 yard box. Credit to Jamie Lange she made some good saves. Credit to Lura Morton she took her opportunity and finished it and that was the game but it certainly doesn't take away from the bulk of the 90 minutes."
Â
PLU returns to action on Saturday, hosting Willamette University at 12 p.m.  Â
"The conference is is still wide open, there's lots of soccer to be played and what better way to respond than at home against first place Willamette."
