This season was
Michael Larson's first and last season as a tennis player at PLU, but he is still incredibly grateful for his athletic experience.
Â
Larson expressed gratitude for how welcoming his teammates and coaches were at the beginning of the season. Although his only season as a tennis player was cut short, Larson will always be thankful for the chance to play tennis.
Â
"The past year has taught me to always appreciate the opportunities I have," Larson said. "This season was cut short which is heartbreaking but I keep a positive attitude by appreciating the moments I did have."Â
Â
Outside of athletics, Larson is the Chief Operations Officer of the Regent's Student Investment fund, the RAAD of Pflueger Hall, and an admissions ambassador. He is also a professional Yu-Gi-Oh! player.
Â
"Michael is a great gentlemen! He's very likeable and just a good guy. I really appreciated his want to learn and absorb everything he could about tennis and work hard every day," said Head Coach
John Campbell.
Â
Larson will be graduating with a degree in Finance and Accounting, and will be working in the financial services industry in Washington. In his free time, Larson plans to launch a web application that tracks secondary financial markets for trading card games.
