"The men had some good swims, but are a little rough in their second and third swims," said PLU Head Coach Matt Sellman.  "We competed well and had a lot of fun, but we definitely want to improve on our consistency from race to race."

Braddoch cruised to the win the eighth event of the afternoon, touching the wall .32 ahead of the pack.  The freshman also took second place in the 200 free, finishing in 151.06.

Senior Seth Koivisto turned in a pair of second-place finishes on the afternoon.  He took silver in the 100 (59.92) and 200 breaststroke (2:14.64).  Classmate Ethan Trieu also turned in a runner-up performance in the 100 backstroke (58.05).

Charlie Cutter finished off the strong Lute performances, coming in second in the 50 free (22.72).

The Lutes (1-1, 1-1 NWC) will take next weekend off before heading to Whitman College on Saturday, February 13.  Race time is at 1:00 p.m.
