Women's Basketball: The Lutes (3-2) have the weekend off after earning a pair of wins in California. PLU's road swing started against California Institute of Technology, erasing a 14-point deficit to collect the 50-46 win.

Josie Napoli led the Lutes with 17 points along with seven rebounds, seven assists, and five steals with
Ava Edmonds collecting 15 points.

Pacific Lutheran led wire-to-wire the following day against Occidental College, securing the 70-59 win behind a 24-point effort from Napoli.

The Lutes are back on the hardwood on Dec. 3, opening Northwest Conference play on the road at Lewis & Clark College.Â

Women's Swimming: PLU (5-0, 4-0 NWC) picked up a pair of NWC dual meet wins over the weekend, edging Linfield University 109-96 on Friday before smashing Lewis & Clark 130-56 on Saturday.

Malia Wisham stole the show over the weekend, winning all six events she competed in. That included scoring 27 points in the Lutes' win over Linfield while netting 29 points at L&C. Wisham's performance earned her NWC Swimmer of the Week honors on Monday.Â

Men's Basketball: The Lutes (2-1) experienced mixed results over the weekend at the Doug McArthur Classic hosted at the University of Puget Sound. PLU overcame a 13-point deficit to edge University of Redlands 84-83 on Friday before stumbling 66-60 to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges the following day.

Seth Hall scored the final four points against Redlands to secure the win, finishing the night with 25 points whole
Tyler Ashmore added 17.

On Saturday, it was Hall again leading the way with 18 points as PLU nearly erased a 15-point deficit against the Stags.

Men's Swimming: Pacific Lutheran ended on the short end of a 131.5-69.5 scoreline against Linfield on Friday before earning a rare 91-91 tie at Lewis & Clark.

Seth Koivisto won three events on Friday, prevailing in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, and the 200-yard freestyle relay before winning the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke on Saturday.
