Women's Rowing 9th in National Poll

Complete CRCA Top 15 Poll

TACOMA, Wash. - The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association released its second installment of the NCAA Division III Top 15 Poll on Wednesday with the Pacific Lutheran University women's rowing team checking in at No. 9.
 
The four-time defending Northwest Conference Lutes accumulated 60 points in the poll, sitting two points shy of eighth-ranked Washington College and two-points above 10th ranked Trinity College and Williams College. 
 
Bates College strengthens its stranglehold on the top spot, claiming 150 points and all 10 first place votes. Wesleyan University surges up three spots to second with 135 points while Ithaca College drops one spot to third (130). Tufts University (123 points) and Hamilton College (102 points) round out the top five.
 
NWC rival Lewis & Clark College sits just outside the top 15 in the other receiving votes section, garnering 10 points.
 
PLU guns for its fifth consecutive NWC title on Sunday, competing at the 2021 NWC Championships held at Vancouver Lake.
