TACOMA, Wash. – The Pacific Lutheran women's soccer team wrapped up the nonconference portion of their schedule Saturday with a 6-0 victory against Evergreen State at East Field.
The Lutes (4-0 overall) received five goals from players off of the bench, while out-shooting the Geoducks (0-2-1) 29-5 including 19-2 on target.

Julia Causbie opened the scoring in the 25
th minute on a ball that rolled through the Evergreen State keeper's legs.
Alyssa Jordan doubled the lead in the 39
th minute off an assist from
Kayden Hulquist.
In the second half, the Lutes blew it open taking a 3-0 lead on an own goal by an Evergreen defender in the 62
nd minute. Two minutes later,
Hannah Cecil scored unassisted after rounding the keeper and slotting the ball home.
Vivian Shinall made it 5-0 in the 82 minute and then assisted
Kaylie Brown in the 85
th minute to close the scoring.

Eva Wirth earned the victory in goal, combining with
Calie Rose for the shutout.
PLU opens Northwest Conference play at 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 hosting Whitworth.
