Women's Swimming: The Lutes (7-0, 6-0 NWC) extended their win streak to 25 straight on Saturday, winning all 10 events in a 136.5-49.5 win over George Fox University. It was the final home meet of the season with the Lutes' 2022 seniors closing their careers a perfect 14-0 in dual meets at the PLU Pool.

Annika Eisele headlined the night, winning three events and placing second in another and on Monday was tabbed the NWC Swimmer of the Week. With a win on Saturday against the Loggers, PLU would clinch its seventh consecutive NWC dual meet championship, a streak dating back to the 2014-2015 season.

Men's Basketball: PLU (11-6, 6-2 NWC) heads into the weekend after experiencing mixed results the previous week. The Lutes led by as many as 19 points on Saturday at Linfield University but was unable to fully cage the Wildcats, getting bitten 87-84 before grinding out a 67-66 overtime win over George Fox University on Tuesday night.

Seth Hall scored 29 in the loss to Linfield and posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 boards in the win over George Fox. Hall currently leads the NWC in scoring, dropping 21.7 points per game.

Men's Swimming: The Lutes (2-3-1, 2-3-1 NWC) collected their second straight dual meet win last Saturday, downing George Fox 97-80 on Senior Night.Â

Seth Koivisto closed out his decorated home career by winning three events including the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard individual medley, and the 100-yard breaststroke.Â

Women's Basketball: Pacific Lutheran (4-10, 1-6 NWC) dropped a midweek tilt to George Fox on Tuesday, coming up short, 71-47. The Lutes trailed by just seven in the third quarter but the Bruins pulled away in the final quarter to breeze to the win.

Josie Napoli finished one-point and one-assist shy of a double-double with nine points and nine helpers while
Kasidy Javernick,
Ava Edmonds, and
Jaida Wood all added eight points apiece.

Track & Field: Nine Lutes will compete over the weekend at the UW Invitational, including defending national champion
Bailey Forsyth. Forsyth, who won national titles in both the 100-meters and 200-meters last spring will make her season debut, competing in both the 200-meters and 60-meters.

The Lutes will additionally have athletes compete in the 60-meter hurdles, the pole vault, and the high jump.

Women's Tennis: PLU begins the main portion of the season on Monday with a three match tour of Arizona. The Lutes face Ottawa University on Monday followed by matches at Paradise Valley Community College and Arizona Christian University.Â

It will be the Lutes' first taste of outside competition since late September when the squad went to Newberg, Oregon for the 2021 ITA Northwest Regional.Â
