OJAI, Calif. - Doubles partners Michael Campbell and Hampus Pers Eliasson advanced to the quarterfinals to highlight the Pacific Lutheran University men's tennis squad's efforts at the 120th annual Ojai Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Campbell and Pers Eliasson grinded out an 8-6 victory in the opening round over Caleb Wilkins and Mac Caldwell of Chapman University before falling 8-5 to California Institute of Technology's Daniel Wen and Kyle McCandless in the quarterfinals.

Caleb Grass and Derek Stone fell 8-1 in the opening round while Lars Wangen and Samuel Kwon fell short 8-0.

In singles, Campbell fell, 6-2, 6-1, in the first round while Pers Eliasson came up short, 6-4, 7-5, to CIT's McCandless.

PLU closed the 2021-2022 season with a 4-7 dual match record and a 2-6 mark in Northwest Conference play.
