Complete Academic All-American Team
TACOMA, Wash. - Pacific Lutheran University women's track & field student-athlete
Bailey Forsyth added another accolade to her resume of Tuesday, earning College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American honors.
The senior sprinter and six-time All-American is one of 15 student-athletes to secure CoSIDA Third Team Academic All-American accolades. Forsyth was the lone Northwest Conference track & field athlete to make the cut and one of just three student-athletes from the West Coast to secure Academic All-American status.
A global studies major, Forsyth is a two-time national champion, a two-time NWC Track Athlete of the Year, a six-time All-American, and a four-time NWC Champion.

Last spring Forsyth won national titles in both the 100-meters and 200-meters while this academic year, the Langley, Washington native was an All-American in both the 60-meters and 200-meters at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships and an All-American in both the 100-meters and 200-meters at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

The 2022 Academic All-American Track & Field Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. To be eligible a student-athlete must be a key contributor, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at their current institution, and be nominated by their sports information director.
