Women's Soccer Hosts ID Camp on August 9

TACOMA, Wash. — The six-time defending Northwest Conference Champion Pacific Lutheran University women's soccer team is hosting an summer ID camp on August 9 for female players from ages 14 to 19.

The PLU Summer ID Camp is for youth players looking to play at the collegiate level. The one day camp begins with check in at 9:45 a.m. with camp beginning at 10 a.m. The camp will include a training session, a campus tour, a Why PLU talk and Q&A session with current players along with 11-on-11 games. Cost of the camp is $100 and includes a camp t-shirt. For more information contact Head Coach Seth Spidahl at spidahsj@plu.edu.

The Lutes hoisted their sixth consecutive NWC title last fall, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament and closing the season with a 17-2-3 overall record and a 13-1-2 mark in conference action. PLU opens the lid on the 2023 season on Sept. 1 against California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.
