Complete USC Region X Poll
TACOMA, Wash. — The two-time defending Northwest Conference Champion Pacific Lutheran University men's soccer squad continues to climb the United Soccer Coaches' Region X Poll, rising one spot to sixth on Tuesday.
Riding a six-game win streak and a 15-game unbeaten run, the Lutes (12-3-3, 11-0-3 NWC) rose one spot to sixth in the week nine rankings. Its the fourth straight week PLU has been ranked in Region X, first cracking into the poll on October 14th at No. 8. The Lutes are one of two NWC schools in the poll with conference leader Whitman College (13-0-5) moving up one spot to fourth.
The top two remained unchanged from a week ago with Texas squads Trinity University (15-1) and Southwestern University (14-1-3) remaining on top. Colorado College (11-0-6) moved into third followed by Whitman. University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (12-2-4) is fifth with Texas Lutheran University (10-4-3) in seventh and Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (8-4-3) in eighth.
The Lutes close out the regular season at home this weekend, hosting Whitworth University on Saturday before closing out against Whitman. Kickoff for both games is set for 1:45 p.m.
