Complete USC All-Region Teams
TACOMA, Wash. — United Soccer Coaches (USC) released its postseason award winners on Tuesday with three members of the Pacific Lutheran University men's soccer team securing All-Region honors.
Connor O'Brien,
Landon Sexton, and
Yuta Shimazu were all recognized as Third Team All-region selections for Region X.
O'Brien, Sexton, and Shimazu were among the seven Northwest Conference players to be honored as All-Region X. A total of 33 student-athletes were named USC All-Region X, divided into an 11-player First Team, 11-player Second Team, and an 11-player Third Team.
Connor O'Brien secures Third Team All-Region X as a midfielder. It's the Renton, Washington native's first time earning All-Region and is the third postseason award accumulated this fall after earning First Team All-NWC and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District. O'Brien led the conference in assists this fall with 11 while scoring six goals. O'Brien played in all 20 of the Lutes' games and was second on the squad in points with 23.
Landon Sexton earns Third Team All-Region X as a defender. The Olympia, Washington native is a first time All-Region selection. A Frst Team All-Conference award winner, Sexton played in 19 games this season, scoring three goals and anchoring a stout defense that posted three shutouts on the season.
Yuta Shimazu lands Third Team All-Region X as a forward. The Kobe, Japan native is earning All-Region for the first time in his career while nabbing his third accolade of the fall after earning First Team All-NWC and CSC Academic All-District. Shimazu played in all 20 games this fall, scoring six goals with seven assists. He had 19 total points during the 2025 campaign and had a par of game-winning goals.
Pacific Lutheran finished up the 2025 season with a 13-4-3 overall record and a 12-1-3 mark inn conference play, placing second in the NWC standings.Â
