HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Northwest Conference office released the All-Conference award winners for men's swimming on Tuesday with three Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes earning recognition.
Tyler Tanaka earned a First Team All-Conference nod and a Second Team All-Conference selection while
Christian Georgi and
Devin Stanley both earned a pair of Second Team All-League honors.
Tanaka was named First Team All-NWC in the 200-yard breaststroke and Second Team All-Conference in the 400-yard individual medley.  The Anahola, Hawaii native was runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in two minutes, 5.48 seconds at the 2025 NWC Championships in Federal Way, Washington. The junior additionally was eighth in the 400-yard IM in 4:13.82 and scored 121 points over the course of the four-day meet between individual and relay events.
Georgi was named Second Team All-Conference in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard breaststroke. The San Antonio, Texas native made his conference debut in style, placing fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:08.71 and seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke in 59.57. The first-year tallied 35 total points across the three individual events he raced during the meet, including winning the B Final of the 200-yard backstroke.
Stanley secured Second Team All-League in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke. The Maple Valley, Washington native finished fifth in the 100-yard backstroke in 51.18 and was eighth in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.59. The senior racked up 112 points for the Lutes over the course of the meet, racing in both individual and relay events.
PLU's three All-Conference performers helped the Lutes finish sixth overall in the team standings, scoring 274 points, enjoying an 83-point gap on seventh place George Fox University.Â
