TACOMA, Wash. — The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized outstanding programs for their success in the classroom on Thursday with the Pacific Lutheran University men's and women's swimming programs both earning the 2025 CSCAA Scholar All-American Team Award.

The Lute men are one of six Northwest Conference institutions to secure the award, boasting a 3.48 cumulative grade point average. Joining PLU in earning CSCAA Scholar All-American Team honors was NWC rivals George Fox University, University of Puget Sound, Willamette University, Whitman College, and Whitworth University.

The PLU women's squad landed the accolade after compiling a 3.35 GPA. Similar to the men's side, six of the NWC's nine institutions were recognized by winning the award.

To be eligible for the award, programs needed to be active CSCAA members and have a team GPA of 3.0 or above. All told, 763 teams earned Scholar All-America Team honors for the spring semester, representing 18,459 student-athletes from 432 institutions across the country.
