Head Coach
Chad Murray earns NWC Coach of the Year honors for the second time in four years. Murray's squad exceeded the preseason expectations after being picked to finish fifth in the conference in the coaches' poll. The Lutes ended the regular season on a five-game win streak, closing league play with an 11-5 record to secure second place in the conference standings. Murray's squad earned wins over each of the three other NWC Tournament participants, including scoring a 75-73 road win over regular season Champion Whitworth University along with sweeping the season series against eventual tournament champion Lewis & Clark College.
PLU finished the season with a 14-12 record, marking the sixth consecutive season the Lutes have had a winning record— the program's longest stretch of winning campaigns since Ed Anderson's Lute squads from 1976 to 1982.
