PORTLAND, ORE.— Ghadir Ramadan career-high double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds propels Pacific Lutheran University women's basketball to win over the Lewis and Clark College on Friday evening.
PLU secures their first Northwest Conference win on the road in dominating fashion scoring their most points on the season so far with 78 total points.

Lutes started off with momentum has
Lilli Williams and
Kylie Griffin got things going for PLU rattling off back-to back buckets. PLU would really turn up the pressure in the first quarter causing several bad passes leading to forced turnovers by the River Otters. Lutes would take a 15-11 advantage going in to the 2nd quarter.
Sydney Reisner and Ramadan would keep things moving in a positive direction for the Lutes trading timely baskets and playing solid defense against Lewis & Clark. Going in to halftime PLU had a nine point advantage and forced 11 turnovers.
Ramadan would then own the third quarter finishing with 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting and perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe.
Emi Wada would close things out in the 4th quarter scoring all 10 of her points in the 4th on 3-of-4 from the field and two timely three-point daggers to widen the Lutes lead. PLU would win by 20 points their largest margin of victory so far this season. Lutes capitalized on the defensive pressure forcing Lewis & Clark to turn the ball over 20 times and scored 20 points off those mistakes. PLU also shot a high-percentage from the free throw capitalizing on 20 trips by hitting 17 shots.
Reisner finished the game with 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Williams would round out the top three scorers finishing with 14 points on 6-of-11 from the field.
PLU will return to action tomorrow as they travel to Newberg, Ore. to face George Fox University with tip-off slated for 3 PM.
