PARKLAND, Wash. - PLU honored two seniors for their last home match Sunday afternoon against Lewis & Clark. Both Jeremy Marsh and Noel Oteng-Mensah competed for PLU for four years and slowly moved up through the team's roster during that time.
"They both started lower and worked their way up," Head Coach John Cassens said
during his introduction. "They're our franchise players now."
The Lutes were unable to come away with a victory, losing 9-0 to the undefeated Pioneers.
James Okubo and Alberto Leal stepped up to Pioneers' Gordon Barrows and Brenden
Barrows at No. 1. The duo went back and forth before eventually falling, 8-3.
The Lutes have one final weekend of matches next week. They'll travel to face Whitworth on Saturday before wrapping up the season on Sunday against Whitman.
