FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team utterly dominated host and Northwest Conference rival Pacific University on Saturday, winning all 10 events to secure the 131-25 dual meet victory.
"The team had a lot of fun today," said Head Coach
Matt Sellman. "Most swam fun races they don't always have the opportunity to compete in and we saw some strong times. The relays were a lot of fun, we matched them up and had some great races."

Peter Thompson,
Ethan Trieu, and
Phillip Hecksel collaborated to win the 200-yard medley relay in one minute, 43.41 seconds to open the meet.
Jared Toschi took top billing in the 200-yard freestyle with a winning time of 1:55.24 while
Seth Koivisto nabbed the win in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 22.81. Trieu topped the field in the 400-yard individual medley (4:33.92) while
Alex Johannessen won the 100-yard butterfly in 56.61.
Koivisto (50.21),
Christiaan Chandler (52.73), and Toschi (53.63) went 1-2-3 in the 100-yard freestyle while
Hayden Mortensen (56.09) and
James Waltz (1:02.30) were 1-2 in the 100-yard backstroke. Lozensky won the 500-yard freestyle (5:11.46) by a comfortable 53-second margin before
Peter Thompson (1:05.83) and
Nicolas Celebrado (1:07.42) took the top two spots in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The meet concluded with the Lutes sweeping the top three places in the 200-yard freestyle relay with Trieu, Koivisto, Johannessen, and
Henri Coronado-Volta sporting a winning time of 1:34.56.
The Lutes (5-2) close out the dual meet season on Feb. 1, facing crosstown rival University of Puget Sound at 1 p.m.
