PORTLAND, Ore. - The Pacific Lutheran University women's swimming team cruised to its 23rd consecutive dual meet win on Saturday, winning nine of the 10 events contested to secure the 130-56 victory over Lewis & Clark College at the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion.
"Today's meet was very exciting. The women continued to impress, winning and placing well all day long. We had fun swimming some secondary races and giving them a fun break from their main events," said Head Coach

Annika Eisele,
Isabella Valles,
Jessica Ordaz, and
Malia Wisham set the tone in the opening race, winning the 200-yard medley relay in one minute, 55.41 seconds.
Claire Cranch prevailed in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing in 2:07.94 while Ordaz claimed the 50-yard freestyle in 24.92.
Wisham won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:12.75 while Eisele (1:02.63) and
Sidney Chan-Orcutt (1:03.56) went one-two in the 100-yard butterfly.
Bailey Hamilton won the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 1:04.19 with teammate
Maya Lovre runner-up in 1:04.98.
Cranch won her second event of the day in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 5:41.95. Wisham tallied her third event win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.62) with teammate Sindey Chan-Orcutt (1:12.85) runner-up.
The Lutes (5-0, 4-0 Northwest Conference) closed the meet with
Sidney Chan-Orcutt,
Makenzie Chan-Orcutt, Hamilton, and Ordaz winning the 200-yard freestyle in 1:42.58.
Saturday's meet was the Lutes' final competition of the calendar year. The Lutes will resume their season on Jan. 14 with a road dual meet against Pacific University.
