NORTH PLAINS, Ore.— The Pacific Lutheran University women's golf team's Kate Sabarillo and Kathleen Pullin both battled at the Pacific Invitational. 

Sabarillo led the way for the Lutes finishing tied for 33rd shooting 84-95--179 (+37). Pullin finished just behind Sabarillo in 43rd place shooting 92-98--190 (+48).

Ahika Jani won medalist honors, shooting a 148 (70-78) for the tournament held at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. George Fox Unoversity won the team title, shooting a 622 (307-315). PLU competed with just two golfers and didn't compile a team score. 

Lutes will be back in action this weekend Ocotber 12-13 at the NWC Fall Classic hosted by Lewis & Clark College.
