TACOMA, Wash. — The National Football Foundation announced inductees to the Hampshire Honor Society on Wednesday with 11 Pacific Lutheran University football student-athletes earning membership.

Those inducted include
Zachary Budnek,
Darius Chaffin,
Kalen Davis-White,
Nico Golla,
Kellen Meade,
Noah Palitz,
Cole Sargent,
Miles Shearer,
Nico Skinner,
Steele Swinton, and
Aiden Yost.
A total of 2,532 student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions, the NAIA, and sprint football were recognized, representing 339 institutions from around the country. The Lutes accounted for 11 of the 28 NFF Hampshire Society inductees from the Northwest Conference with Lewis & Clark College and Willamette University also having players recognized.Â

Of PLU's 11 inductees, four were named All-Northwest Conference this fall, two were tabbed College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, and one was named D3football.com All-Region. Hampshire Society honorees
Darius Chaffin,
Kalen Davis-White,
Nico Golla, and
Nico Skinner all received All-League laurels this fall. Golla and Skinner were both CSC Academic All-District selections while Golla was additionally named All-Region by D3football.com.Â
The Lutes' 11 inductees is the most ever in program history. PLU had seven student-athletes inducted last year with the previous high for the program being 10 inductees after the conclusion of the 2016 and 2018 seasons.Â

To be eligible, a player had to be a senior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or higher. The individual also had to be a starter or a contributor during the 2024 season.
PLU wrapped up the 2024 season with a 7-3 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference action, finishing third overall in the final conference standings.Â
