NORTH PLAINS, Ore. — Jack Brigham finished inside the Top 10 at his first Northwest Conference major tournament of his career on Monday, leading the Pacific Lutheran University men's golf squad to a sixth place finish at the 2026 NWC Fall Classic at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.
Brigham finished eighth overall, shooting a two-round tally of 142.  The first-year opened the tournament with a 71 on Sunday, carding 13 pars and three birdies while shooting an identical 71 on Monday, a score that helped Brigham bump up two spots on the leaderboard. His final round included 11 pars, two birdies, and an eagle on hole four.Â

Soren Bostrom shot a 149 to tie for 20
th place. Bostrom tallied a one over 72 during Sunday's opening round, making nine pars and five birdies while finishing on Monday with a 77 that included 11 pars and one birdie.Â
Tanner Frinell and
Grant Raubenolt tied for 26
th overall, both shooting a 151. Frinell had a 77 on Sunday before shaving off three strokes on Monday with a 74. Raubenolt shot a 76 on Sunday and carded a 75 during Monday's final round.
Tyler Maag rounded out the Lute golfers, finishing tied for 38
th with a 155 (77-78). Maag's weekend included 17 pars across the two rounds with five birdies and an eagle on hole four on Monday.Â

The Lutes placed sixth in the team standings, shooting a 593 and owning a five-stroke edge on crosstown rival University of Puget Sound (296-302). PLU was tied for sixth with the Loggers after shooting a 296 on day one before pulling away on Monday after shooting a 297 as a team.
"Super happy with Jack, he continues to prove what a great player he is. He's actually disappointed in his result but he's just a solid golfer and has a good career in front of him at PLU," said Head Coach
Al Patterson.
"Overall, we're disappointed in our team finish but we're going to keep working at it. We still have a very good thing going with this team and looking forward to getting back out there on Saturday and Sunday at Oakbrook."
Whitman College hoisted the team title, shooting a 554 (268-286) and owning a 15-stroke buffer on runner-up Willamette University (285-284).Â

Willamette's AJ Papajohn earned medalist honors, winning by three strokes with a 133 (65-68).

The Lutes are back in action on Saturday, competing at Oakbrook Golf Club in nearby Lakewood, Washington at the Puget Sound Invitational.
