The Lutes got their other singles win at No. 6, where Sophia Ro topped Eichhorn, 6-2, 6-3. The No. 4 singles match went to a third set, and then to a tiebreaker, before L&C's McCluskey came back for a 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) victory over Ellmer.
