TACOMA - Pacific Lutheran saw its women's tennis season come to an end on Saturday as it dropped a 9-0 decision to Whitworth in Northwest Conference action.

The Lutes ended the season winless in 12 conference matches, and they were 2-15 overall this season. Whitworth, meanwhile, won the regular season conference championship with a spotless 12-0 record and will host next the NWC postseason tournament next Friday and Saturday.

Whitworth had little trouble dispatching the Lutes, losing only four games in three doubles matches and just 10 games in six singles competitions.
