Women’s Tennis Bitten by Wildcats, 9-0

Box Score MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – The Pacific Lutheran University women's tennis squad dropped a 9-0 decision to Linfield on Saturday in Oregon.
 
"We lost a tough match against conference-leading Linfield," said Head Coach Cheri Campbell. "Bayley competed well, with a 2 and 4 loss.  She has multiple deuces in a two-hour loss."
 
The Lutes' (2-5, 0-3 NWC) Kylie Rademacher and Lauren Kearney pushed the Wildcats' (9-2, 3-0 NWC) Maggie Fiocchi and Sarah Sweet to the limit at No. 3 doubles before eventually falling by a 8-5 margin.
 
In singles play, Bayley Gochanour battled hard at No. 2 against Elsa Harris before eventually succumbing , 6-2, 6-4.  Rademacher fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4.
 
The Lutes are back in action tomorrow in Salem facing Willamette at 10 a.m.
