SEATTLE, Wash. — The Pacific Lutheran University men's and women's track & field programs sent a small squad to the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility over the weekend, competing over two days at the UW Invitational.
The meet was the Lutes' third indoor meet of the season and the second straight in Seattle.

Grady Lemma was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the 60-meter hurdles, darting down the synthetic surface in 8.72 seconds to place 10
th overall.Â

Kai Sorensen finished fifth in his heat of the 800-meters, clocking an indoor personal best of 1:54.92 which was just a half second off his outdoor best.Â

"Kai ran a great race and is showing really good form this year in the year," said Head Coach
Trey Henderson.
"Grady had some challenges in his race but worked through it really well and I thought our women's triple jumpers— Kyleigh and Madison— jumped really well."

In the field,
Bridger Hanis was the top D3 competitor in the high jump, clearing five feet, eight and one half inches to secure 13
th overall.
Seth Kramer secured an indoor personal best in the long jump, leading 21' 5 ¼" a jump that's over a foot better than his previous top mark.
On the women's side,
Kyleigh Archer and
Madison Downey both had their best mark of the calendar year in the triple jump. Archer was 11
th overall and the top D3 finisher, leaping a season best 35' 9 ¼" while Downey was 11
th overall with a mark of 33' 8 ¾", her best in 2025 but just shy of her effort at the season opener at the Spokane Invitational in December.Â
The Lutes return to Seattle later this month, competing at the Husky Classic on Feb. 14 and 15.Â
