TACOMA, Wash. — College Sports Communicators recognized excellence on the track, in the field, and in the classroom on Tuesday with five Pacific Lutheran University women's track & field student-athletes earning CSC Academic All-District.

Earning Academic All-District honors included Kyleigh Archer, Katy Cook, Annika Deazley, Sandra Valmonte, and Eva Wirth.

A sophomore jumper, Kyleigh Archer adds Academic All-District to her resume for the first time this season. The 2025 Northwest Conference Champion in the triple jump, Archer competed in 15 meets this season, leaping a personal best 38 feet, four ¼ inches at the GFU Final Qualifier on May 15.

A junior thrower, Katy Cook lands CSC recognition for the second straight year. Cook competed in 11 meets this year, placing seventh in the hammer throw at the NWC Championships with a personal best toss of 137' 7".
 
A senior distance runner, Annika Deazley notches CSC Academic All-District for the third time. Deazley raced in six cross country meets and nine track meets this past year, winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the PLU Spring Invitational on April 4.

A junior thrower, Sandra Valmonte earns Academic All-District status for the first time. Valmonte competed in six meets this spring, placing sixth in the hammer throw at the NWC Championships while posting a personal best throw of 149' 6" in the hammer at the Westmont Classic on March 22. 
 
A senior thrower, Eva Wirth is named Academic All-District for the second consecutive season. Wirth competed in eight meets this spring, finishing third in the hammer throw and fourth in the discus throw at the NWC Championships. 

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes needed a grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Academic All-District honorees are now eligible for the CSC's Academic All-American honors which will be released later this summer.
