Tacoma, Wash. — The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its All-Region honorees for the indoor track & field season this week with three Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes earning recognition.
Ki Neir and
Hunter Kleindl both secured All-West Region honors in the pole vault while
Kyleigh Archer was tabbed All-West Region in the triple jump.
Ki Neir secures Indoor All-Region honors in the pole vault for the second consecutive season. The Yelm, Washington native ranked fourth in the West Region in the event after vaulting a personal best 11 feet 5 ¾ inches at the UW Invitational in Seattle back on Jan. 30-31.Â
Hunter Kleindl lands All-West honors after a stellar debut indoor season. The Puyallup, Washington native cleared 14' 9" at the UW Invitational, a mark that ended the indoor campaign as the fourth best in the West Region.
Kyleigh Archer garners All-Region accolades for the second time in her career and for the first time during the indoor season. The Spokane, Washington native was tabbed All-Region during the outdoor season last spring. Archer owned the best triple jump in the West Region this winter after leaping 36' 9 ¾" at the season opening Spokane Invitational back on Dec. 13.Â

The Lutes continue the outdoor season this Friday, competing on campus at the Brad Moore Invitational. Action on Friday gets underway at noon with the hammer throw while the rest of the meet is Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.
