Kramer Collects NWC Field Athlete of the Week Accolades

Official NWC Release

HILLSBORO, Ore. — A big performance to open the outdoor track & field season has earned Pacific Lutheran University's Seth Kramer the first Northwest Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week Award of 2026.

The senior from Wylie, Texas was second overall on Saturday in the long jump, leaping a personal best 23 feet, 0 ¾ inches. Kramer's personal record mark is the 11th best in school history and currently is the top long jump mark in NCAA Division III during the 2026 outdoor season. That mark is over two inches better than the next best mark in Division III and is the best jump in the NWC by a full foot.

Runner-up at the NWC Championships last spring, Kramer also competed on the track on Saturday, clocking a time of 23.20 seconds in the 200-meter dash and was a member of the Lutes' 4x400-meter relay team.

Kramer and the Lutes will compete at home over the next two weeks, beginning this Friday when the squad hosts the PLU Open.
