NCAA Qualifiers List

TACOMA, Wash. — The field for the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships was released on Friday with Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes Carson Olmstead and Alicia-Ellalynn Soliai punching a ticket to the event held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 
 
Both Olmstead and Soliai will be making their national meet debuts. Olmstead qualifies in the javelin while Soliai will compete in the shot put. The javelin will be contested on Thursday at 3 p.m. (Eastern Time) with the shot put the following day, Friday May 24 at 4 p.m. (Eastern Time).
 
Olmstead was runner-up at the 2024 Northwest Conference Championships after a personal best throw of 197 feet, six inches. The sophomore currently owns the 17th best throw in the javelin in NCAA Division III.
 
Soliai qualified for the NCAA Championships after a personal best throw of 45' 5 ¼" at the Portland Distance Carnival last weekend. Soliai heads to the East Coast with the 15th best mark in D3.
