NEWBERG, Ore. — The Pacific Lutheran University track & field teams send a small group of student-athletes to Thursday's George Fox Final Qualifier, the final meet before the NCAA releases the qualifying list for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

"Today's meet was a good opportunity for some of our student-athletes to chase a national qualifying mark and for some seniors to get their final college meet in," said Head Coach
Trey Henderson.
"They competed well today after a long season. I'm excited to get back to work next season and really enjoyed watching George and Jonathan finish their college careers."
Seth Kramer placed third in the long jump, leaping 21 feet, nine and one half inches while
Micah Ragaza-Bourassa was fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 168' 11".
George Sonko was fifth in the discus with a heave of 143' 3" while
Jonathan Ochoa was 16th in the javelin with a throw of 104' 6".
Abi Caprye was fourth in the high jump, clearing 5' 2 ¼" and was seventh in the pole vault (10' 1 ¼").
Madison Downey was sixth in the pole vault, clearing 10' 7".
The Lutes didn't have anyone competing at the meet on the track.
The NCAA will release qualifiers for the 2026 Outdoor Championships tomorrow evening with
Madison Downey a lock to make the trip to La Crosse, Wisconsin, ranking 14th in the nation in the triple jump after setting a school record in the event last Friday at the Oregon Twilight.Â
