HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Pacific Lutheran University men's track & field squad had five student-athletes honored on Thursday by the Northwest Conference office as Second Team All-Conference selections.
Bridger Hanis headlined the group, earning All-Conference honors in two events and was joined by
Garrett Armbruster,
Hunter Kleindl,
Micah Ragaza-Bourassa, and
Tyger Willingham.
Hanis was tabbed Second Team All-NWC in both the high jump and triple jump. It's the third straight year the junior earned All-Conference honors in the high jump and the first time in the triple jump. Hanis cleared six feet, three and ¼ inch in the high jump to secure fourth place on the podium at the 2026 NWC Championships over the weekend while finishing sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 42' 10 ¼".
Garrett Armbruster earns All-Conference honors in the pole vault for the first time in his career. Armbruster cleared 13' 4 ½" to place eighth overall, finishing just a half inch shy of his personal record clearance from a week prior.
Hunter Kleindl joins Armbruster as an All-NWC selection in the pole vault. The first-year cleared 13' 10 ½" in his NWC Championship debut, finishing fourth overall.
Micah Ragaza-Bourassa secures Second Team All-Conference in the hammer throw. Ragaza-Bourassa finished fourth overall in the event, uncorking a personal best throw of 170' 3". It's the third straight season Ragaza-Bourassa has earned All-League honors in the hammer throw.
Tyger Willingham was PLU's lone All-Conference selection on the track, earning Second Team recognition in the 100-meter dash. Willingham finished sixth in the 100-meters, crossing the tape in 11.14 during Sunday's final.
The Lutes placed eighth as a team at the 2026 NWC Championships.
