MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — Seth Kramer won the long jump, headlining a trio of Pacific Lutheran University men's track & field student-athletes that competed on Saturday at the Linfield Open.

Kramer bested the 29-competitor field with a leap of 22 feet, six and one quarter inch on his sixth and final jump of the day. His mark was over six inches better than runner-up Reece Rheinschmidt from Olympic College.
 
George Sonko was fourth in the shot put and second among Division III competitors with a toss of 43' 3". That throw came on Sonko's third throw of the day. Sonko was one of two Lutes competing in the shot put with Chace McSherry also among the 25 competitors. 
 
The Lutes continue the last chance meet circuit next weekend with the Oregon Twilight and Portland Distance Carnival meets.
