TACOMA, Wash. — The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its All-Region performers for the outdoor track & field season on Wednesday with 11 Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes earning recognition.

Kyleigh Archer secures All-West Region honors in the triple jump. The junior ranked sixth in the region in the event with a season-best leap of 36 feet, 11 and one half inch at the 2026 Northwest Conference Championships in Spokane, Washington.
Abi Caprye lands All-Region distinction in the high jump. The junior ranks fourth in the region after clearing a season-best 5' 4 ¼" in May at the Oregon Twilight Meet in Eugene, Oregon.Â

Lexie McGurk, and
Soukhanya Waters land All-Region honors as members of PLU's 4x100-meter relay squad. The quartet clocked a season0best effort of 48.18 seconds at the NWC Championships, a time that sits as the eighth best in the West Region.
Madison Downey earns All-Region in the triple jump. A national qualifier and the NWC Champion in the event, the junior set a school record at the Oregon Twilight in May, leaping 39' 4 ½".Â
Ki Neir claims All-West Region in the pole vault. The sophomore cleared 12' 0 ¾" at the 2026 NWC Championships, winning the conference title and becoming just the third Lute to ever clear 12 feet.
Micah Ragaza-Bourassa earns All-Region in the hammer throw. PLU's lone male All-Region honoree, Ragaza-Bourassa boasted a season-best toss of 170' 3" at the NWC Championships.Â
Sandra Valmonte and
Samayia White both land All-Region status in the hammer throw. White ranks sixth in the West Region in the event with a toss of 152' 0" at the NWC Championships while Valmonte sits seventh in the region in the hammer throw after a season-best mark of 151' 1" at the PLU Spring Fest in April.
Downey closes out the 2026 season for the Lutes on Saturday, competing in the triple jump at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Â
