TACOMA, Wash. --- The Pacific Lutheran University Men's Swimming team closed out the regular season against cross-town rival Puget Sound, falling 206.5 to 45.5.

Tyler Tanaka put the Lutes on the board with their first win of the meet in the 1,650-yard freestyle, as his time of 18:21.30 was 39-seconds faster than the next-best finishers in
Aidan Koshinsky and
Na'inoa Loo.

Gus Hertz found himself in the mix, taking second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.26, trailing the leader by less-than three seconds.
Ian Rho later earned a podium finish in the 200-yard backstroke, notching a time of 2:07.89.

To round out Saturday's meet, the relay team of
Dakota Domingo,
Anthony James,
Na'inoa Loo, and
Devin Stanley earned a second-place finished in the 200-yard freestyle relay, edging out the Loggers second squad by three-hundredths of a second.

PLU Men's Swimming now sets their sights on the Northwest Conference Championships in two weeks at the King County Aquatic Center, where they will play as the host from February 13
th through February 16
th.
