TACOMA, Wash. — The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its All-Region award winners on Wednesday with three Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes receiving recognition.
Ryan Stracke was tabbed All-Region in two events while
Darius Chaffin and
Kyleigh Archer were also honored.
Ryan Stracke secures USTFCCCA All-West Region honors in both the 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters. The Puyallup, Washington native was the Northwest Conference Champion in both events this spring and was the NWC Outstanding Track Athlete. Stracke held the third best 10K time in the region this spring after clocking a school record time of 30 minutes, 11.56 seconds in late April at the conference meet. He also clocked a season0best time of 14:18.02 at the GFU Final Qualifier, a time that's the fifth best in the region.

Darius Chaffin secures All-West Region in the javelin. The Kalihi, Hawaii native is competing at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships tomorrow, owning the fifth best throw in the region and the 17th-best in all of Division III. The senior unleashed a season-best throw of 204 feet, seven inches back in April at the conference championships.
Kyleigh Archer is the third Lute to earn All-Region, collecting the honor in the triple jump. The 2025 NWC Champion in the event, the Spokane, Washington native saved her best jump for last, leaping a personal best 38' 4 ¼" at the GFU Final Qualifier last Thursday.
