HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Northwest Conference office released its weekly award winners on Monday with Pacific Lutheran University men's golfer
Koen Solis earning NWC Golfer of the Week honors.
The senior from Mill Creek, Washington earned medalist honors on Sunday at the Tumwater Valley Golf Course, shooting four under par to help the Lutes earn a dual match win over host South Puget Sound Community College.

Solis's round of 68 included five birdies and 12 pars with four of those birdies coming on the back nine. The senior was four strokes ahead of the rest of the field with teammate
Marcus Otto placing runner-up with a round of 72.
This is the fifth time Solis has earned NWC Golfer of the Week in his prolific career. The senior previously earned the honor during the 2024-2025 season on Sept. 25 and April 14 and during the 2023-2024 campaign on March 5 and 11.Â
Solis and the Lutes secured a 17-stroke win over the Clippers with PLU shooting a four-player tally of 291 with SPSCC shooting a 308.Â
The Lutes are back in action on Monday, competing at the George Fox Invitational.Â
