TACOMA, Wash. — College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District At-Large selections on Tuesday with 11 Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes being honored across four different sport programs.
Earning recognition from men's golf was student-athletes
Soren Bostrom,
Luke Butler,
Tanner Frinell,
Marcus Otto, and
Koen Solis.
Emily Alicea and
Kathleen Pullin were honored from women's golf along with rowing student-athletes
Riah Heil and
Hannah Miyasaki, and lacrosse student-athletes
Issabella Marchio and
Taylee Alldredge.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes student-athletes that have excelled in the sport and in the classroom, with a sophomore academic standing or higher and a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above (on a 4.00 scale). The at-large program encompasses 23 NCAA sanctioned sports, including four sports offered at the varsity level by PLU— men's and women's golf, women's lacrosse, and women's rowing.
The At-Large program also recognizes student-athletes in the men's sports of fencing, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling, along with women's sports of beach volleyball, bowling, fencing, field hockey, gymnastics, ice hockey, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling.
