TACOMA, Wash. –
Jeff Lozensky won three events, powering the Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team to a dominating 129 – 48 victory over Pacific University at the PLU Pool.
Lozensky teamed up with
Bradley Jerome,
Phillip Hecksel, and
Christiaan Chandler to open the meet in the 400-yard medley relay, stopping the clock at 3:49.44. The junior captured the 100-yard butterfly finishing in 57.32, and completed the hat-trick in the meet with a win in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5.14:69.
Jerome logged the win in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:00.11 while Charlie Cutter prevailed in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:48.84).
Elijah Singstad helped lead a one-two-three finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.48) and
Jackson Curtis captured the 100-yard freestyle in 49.81.The Lutes wrapped up the meet with a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay, ending the day with victories in eight of the 11 events contested. The winning relay of

Jared Toschi,
Seth Koivisto, and Singstad finished in 3:22.47.
"We had a lot of fun today," said Head Coach
Matt Sellman. "We really tried to give the team chances to swim their secondary races and some things they don't get to swim often. They performed very well and gave us some nice surprises."
PLU returns to the pool next Saturday to take on Puget Sound at 1p.m. The dual is part of Lute Fest- an all-day event inviting Lute alumni, donors, family, and friends to return to campus to enjoy some competition and a reception. For more information, visit
