TACOMA, Wash. - Winning nine of the 11 events was more than enough for the Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team to defeat Willamette University in the Northwest Conference opener ion Friday, rolling the Bearcats 138-67 at the PLU Pool.
"It was a solid start to the conference dual meet season," said Head Coach
Matt Sellman. "The team was excited and enthusiastic all night. We were definitely a little rough in the water to start the meet, but got stronger as the meet went on. We had some really good sprints and we expect to have a better day tomorrow."
