Matt Sellman. "Those four have been such incredible leaders to their teammates and perfect examples of what is great about PLU swimming. They work their tails off, they are focused and successful with their academics, and they make such a positive impact in what they do in their community."
Saturday's meet was Senior Day with the Lutes honoring
Taylor Bingea,
Sydney Bishoff,
Ingrid Straume, and
Kylie Webb prior to the dual. The 2019 seniors have made a tremendous impact on the program over the last four seasons, winning NWC titles in 2016 and 2017, finishing runner-up in 2018, along with posting an impressive 27-2 record in conference dual meets.
"I have loved coaching them and look forward to continuing building great relationships with all of them as they move into the real world."
The Lutes are back in the pool on Feb. 8 for day one of the 2019 NWC Championships in Federal Way, Washington.
